this pouf hand weaving and knotted and on traditional loom by Beni Ourain women hand-weave the textiles used on these soft carpets from undyed, natural wool. The river-like, loosely geometric designs evoke the mountainous landscape of the Rif region in northern Morocco and thus serve to connect the ethos of the nomadic Berber tribes with modern day interiors.
